This rack may be considered the
"central nervous system" of a very comprehensive effects
device routing system, providing 26 channels, via a mixing console's
effect sends/returns/channels as returns. Additional racks of
devices are needed for this many channels, but not with any
additional wiring other than I/O interconnects to those in either
TRS/ XLR or Elco/ EDAC multi-pin configuration.
